If you pass the 2 practical exams then you get to ride your own motorcycle on the dike. Below are the AVB exercises. This is from the CBR leaflet released in 2005 and available for download at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbr.nl\">www.cbr.nl<\/a><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"619\" valign=\"top\"><strong>The Vehicle Control motorcycle exam consists of&nbsp;12&nbsp;exercises divided into four clusters. On your exam, you do  <\/strong><strong>seven. Four exercises are mandatory, the rest your&nbsp;examiner chooses. The point of all exercises is to put the examiner on  <\/strong><strong>convincingly demonstrates mastery of the engine. At&nbsp;low and high speed and that you can brake properly.  <\/strong>When did you pass? In total, you will demonstrate seven&nbsp;exercises on the Vehicle Control exam. All exercises count equally. From each cluster&nbsp;1 exercise is mandatory and from the&nbsp;clusters&nbsp;2 to&nbsp;4 you do one exercise extra. So&nbsp;4 mandatory and&nbsp;3 exercises chosen by the examiner. You may retake each exercise one&nbsp;time in case of a failing grade. To pass, you must successfully complete a total of&nbsp;5 of the&nbsp;7 different&nbsp;exercises. In doing so, you perform at least one exercise correctly in the clusters&nbsp;2 through 4.<\/p>\n<p>Passed the Vehicle Control exam? Then the&nbsp;result is valid for one year. During that period, you can sit for the Traffic Participation exam &#8211; unlimited.<\/p>\n<p>Did you take your&nbsp;vehicle control exam on a light or heavy&nbsp;motorcycle? Then you do the same for the Traffic Participation exam.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\"><strong>&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-261\" title=\"Cluster 1 running\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/cluster-1-lopen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"182\" height=\"140\"><\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Cluster 1: <\/strong><strong>Reverse ParkingThe<\/strong>first cluster consists of the reverse parking exercise. In this mandatory exercise, you walk on the right side of the roadway with the motorcycle in hand. Then park the bike in reverse in an imaginary parking space and put the bike on the stand. Then remove the bike from the stand again and walk to the right out of the parking space.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-262\" title=\"Slow slalom\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/langsame-slalom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"211\" height=\"118\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong><\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Cluster 2: Slow slalom<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The mandatory exercise in the second cluster is the slow slalom. There is no guideline for speed. Given the close spacing, a walking pace is obvious. The use of a slipping clutch is mandatory in this exercise. Of further importance is the combination of proper operation, driving slowly and maintaining balance. You do all this, of course, without touching the pylons!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Driving off parking space\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/wegrijden-parkeervak.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"177\" height=\"106\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Driving out of parking space <\/strong>In this selection exercise, you drive out of a parking space from a standstill. You make a right-angle turn and drive straight for several meters. The lane width is&nbsp;3 meters. The important thing about this exercise is that you know how to make a sharp turn in a controlled way, right after pulling away.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-266\" title=\"Imaginary 8\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/denkbeeldige-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"110\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Imaginary 8With<\/strong>this optional exercise, show that you can drive a complete (imaginary)&nbsp;8 in a rectangular frame. You drive with the engine pulling, maintaining a steady speed. You may use your foot brake and possibly a slipping clutch.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-273\" title=\"Driving at walking pace\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/stapvoets-rijden.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"133\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Pedestrian straight aheadHere<\/strong>the idea is to keep driving next to the running examiner for a distance of&nbsp;20 meters. Attention is paid to speed, balance and proper operation of the bike. You are using a slipping clutch. You may also use your foot brake in this elective exercise, but keep your feet on the footrests while riding.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-267\" title=\"Half turn to the left\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/halve-draai-links-om.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"106\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Half turn (left turn or right turn)<\/strong>If the examiner chooses this exercise, you will drive on an imaginary lane with your engine lightly pulling. After the second pylon, make a half turn to the left or right in a fluid motion. You then drive back to the starting point.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-274\" title=\"Swerve\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/uitwijken.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"120\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Cluster 3: Evasion ExerciseCluster<\/strong>&nbsp;3 consists of&nbsp;3 exercises, of which the evasion exercise is mandatory. In the swerve exercise you come through the gate at&nbsp;50&nbsp;km p\/h&nbsp;.&nbsp;15 m after the gate you must swerve to the left in front of an imaginary wall of pylons. Then return to your own lane.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-272\" title=\"Fast Slalom\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/snelle-slalom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"96\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Fast slalomIn<\/strong>the fast slalom,&nbsp;6 pylons are set up. You take this slalom at a speed of at least&nbsp;30&nbsp;km p\/h&nbsp;with the engine pulling. The important thing is that it is fluid and even.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-275\" title=\"Delay exercise\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/vertragings-oefening.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"137\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Deceleration exerciseIn<\/strong>this optional exercise, you pull up from a standstill to quickly reach a speed of 50 mph. You then drive in at least the&nbsp;3rd gear. After the second gate slow down to 30 km\/h&nbsp; and shift down at least one gear. Then you drive a slalom at this speed around&nbsp;3 pylons that are&nbsp;8 meters apart.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"300\" valign=\"top\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-269\" title=\"Emergency Stop\" src=\"http:\/\/alblasverkeersschool.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/09\/noodstop.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"96\"><\/td>\n<td width=\"319\" valign=\"top\"><strong>Cluster 4: Emergency StopIn<\/strong>the fourth cluster, the emergency stop is the mandatory exercise. You drive at least 50 km p\/h. After the gate, brake to the max to come to a stop as quickly as possible. You first drive&nbsp;50 km p\/h&nbsp;and brake conservatively as you pass the first gate of two pylons.
