Like last year, a number of municipalities in Gelderland with dyke roads are making a friendly appeal to Dutch motorcyclists. One asks motorcycle clubs affiliated with the KNMV to spare the vulnerable dike roads as much as possible when touring. Individual motorcyclists are asked to adjust speed and be considerate of nearby residents. A motto sign has been posted in the Municipality of Maasdriel and the police are doing extra surveillance.
